For a fresh stain:

Remove the excess by blotting with a paper or cotton towel then spray the product onto the stain, and leave for 5 minutes maximum. Then blot again with a clean, absorbent cloth.

For a dry stain:

Spray the product, leave it act for a maximum of 5 minutes then blot away with a clean, absorbent cloth.

Put some salt on the stain as quickly as possible to soak up the spillage. Vacuum or dab this off with a dry cloth. Be careful not to spread the stain over more of the carpet.

Blot the area you have spilled the red wine again with a new paper towel dampened with water. Repeat step 2 if necessary.
